Fumblers on the roof

You've been wondering about this one, haven't you? It's like 'Alien Nation' or 'Dark City', where the world still seems pretty normal, but there is one little thing niggling in your subconscious you can't quite put your finger on. It seems to be everyplace you look and everywhere you turn.

Like a plague of wiggly black worms, this duo has taken over the internets. You see them gyrating all over the page, sometimes in front of a huge moon, sometimes on a roof, sometimes with nothing to frame their ghastly writhing.

A scientific survey of internet users(sample size: me and the guy next to me) brought forth the following top two questions:
a) Who is this couple, and why are they dancing so badly?
b) Why do most LMB women have dreadlocks?

Jurassic Pox

Not flaming meteorites, not an ice age; this is what really killed the dinosaurs. Tired of being one-upped constantly by LMB, its rivals traveled back in time so that they could get a headstart on their ads. Unfortunately, to the detriment of dinosaurs everywhere, they traveled back a bit too far.

Weakened with a strange skin affliction called 'state-pox', the T-rex is in the final throes of death. It looks longingly at the sky, wishing a meteor would take it out painlessly. No meteor ever arrives. Thus ends the reign of the dinos -- not with a bang, but with a flash... a flash ad.
